Pisces

20 February - 20 March

Element - Water Aspect - Mutable Symbol - Fishes  Ruler - Jupiter & Neptune

Colour - Purple & Blue Gemstone Amethyst & Fluorite  Flower - Daffodil

With their sympathetic nature, Pisceans can be romantic and charming lovers, though at times a little too emotional and sensitive. Though they can be successful in business, they often appear a tad too blasé when there is a downturn – they do not like to face tough reality and retreat into a form of cynicism to cover up their inner confusion.

Resourceful and determined when good opportunities present themselves, they excel in the creative arts, especially writing and publishing; though they could use their ability to understand how people work by taking up a career in character acting in the theatre or cinema.

Lacking confidence in their abilities, they can be their strongest critics and are best when encouraged, as pushing them just makes them rather stubborn even if it is detrimental to their own wellbeing.  Although naturally reserved, they are good company – funny, witty but with an acerbic edge which can sometimes be seen as sarcasm.

Never underestimate a Piscean native, as they have hidden depths which can surprise even their closest friends. They also value loyalty and will drop some friends if they let them down.

Pisces is ruled by both Jupiter and Neptune, both of which govern the imagination and emotions, as opposed to practical matters. As a result, Pisceans are the most sensitive, creative, and adaptable of all the signs, but the least organized. In the anatomical realm, Pisces rules the feet and toes, the foundation on which the entire body is supported. This is ironic, because Pisceans are not considered strong people, either physically or emotionally. But just as each sign is assigned a part of the body, so each is also assigned a stage of man's life; the ancients believed that Aries' immature selfishness resembles the first stage of childhood, and that therefore Pisces' spiritual wisdom represents the final stage of maturity. Indeed, there is a great deal of strength—albeit a misunderstood one—in spiritual wisdom
