SUN IN Taurus
Taurus, builders and bankers of the Zodiac. A northern constellation between Orion and Aries containing the Pleiades, it represents the form taken by Zeus when he seduced Europa. This constellation has been associated with a Bull for several thousand years, by the Egyptians, ancient Hebrews as well as the Greeks.
Taureans are determined and forceful; disliking change, preferring a conservative and regular routine, Born as a Taurus, you like to have the comforts of life and are prepared to work hard to get them. Basically insecure, material possessions give a sense of security and they like possessions as a symbol of their status. Enormously resourceful they make a good businessmen, especially in the financial institutions. Usually intelligent, but not intellectual those born in Taurus hate change of any sort, becoming very obstinate when they feel pushed into something risky. Slow to anger but a truly awesome thing to behold when they finally explode.
A faithful and loyal friend, they truly value friendship. Though not as flashy as some of the other signs you can be good fun in the right company. A good host who enjoys giving dinner parties. Good parents, but prefer a calm and tranquil domestic life, with a belief in the old fashioned way of bringing up children, instilling good manners and good behaviour.
Some of the more independent minded children born under other signs will find this too confining and may rebel. Taurean children enjoy being cuddled and even though they give the impression of being easygoing they are sensitive and somewhat insecure. Modest children, they need praise to bring out the best, being studious and timid, even though they enjoy the company of other children.
